CPLP Conference dialogue meeting

In order to support the meeting of the Network of Parliamentary Women of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), which will begin on 13th May at the International Palace of Conferences in Sipopo, the President of the Senate, Teresa Efua Asangono, met those who will carry out certain functions at the forum, to give them advice and set out all the details related to the event.

At the meeting they reviewed the programme, which covers various topics, such as the activities carried out by the CPLP Network of Parliamentary Women, the appreciation and use of the plan of activities for the 2019-2020 mandate, the situation regarding gender equality and the fight against gender violence, and the contribution of the AP-CPLP group to gender equality and political and labour participation.

The Equatorial Guinea Network of Parliamentary Women 2019 is planning a joint audience of the presidents of the upper and lower chambers of parliament, Teresa Efua Asangono and Gaudencio Mohaba Mesu, with representatives of the Network of Parliamentary Women from the Parliamentary Assembly and the CPLP.

Efua Asangono called for responsibility, punctuality and teamwork from all those involved in this event, which is being held in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea for the first time.
