Debates at VII APPO CAPE Congress

On Thursday 4th April the debates at the VII APPO CAPE Congress, which is taking place at the Palace of Conferences in Sipopo, continued with various presentations explaining the situation of diversification in the economies of their respective nations and other action plans which are being implemented, together with a variety of proposals.

An ambitious focus with the national organisations; to be clear in order to deal with the indicated sectors with respect to improvements in the organisation, better structures and the intervention of governments were some of the issues presented by the speakers.

Power implies development and immense changes; that is what was clear from some of the speeches, which underlined the importance of economic diversification.

It is necessary to specify the sectors that are connected with economic diversification, as the examples from other countries are important in order to achieve success. Countries must find conditions to diversify their economies, as there are already a number of general proposals. The guidelines for diversification in African countries are logical, and it is necessary to mitigate the problems that prevent this diversification.

The example of the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo was mentioned, who underlined the need to reach specific agreements. Petroleum and gas can help the creation of added value for citizens, in addition to solving problems and having a plan of action, above all in training.
