Declaration of condemnation and repulsion for the attempted State coup in Equatorial Guinea from the Embassy in Cuba

The Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Cuba, Manuel Bibang Aseko Eyang, signed the declaration of repulsion regarding the recent State coup attempt in Equatorial Guinea. We are including the full contents of the declaration.

Having been informed of the new attempted State coup carried out by mercenaries and murderers infiltrating the borders of Ebebiyin, Mongomo, Bata and Malabo, respectively, with the aim of overthrowing the legitimate Government elected by the Sovereign People of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea led with dignity by His Excellency Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Head of State and of the Government, and President founder of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), during the festivities of Christmas and New Year 2018, with the complicity of eternal enemies, both from inside and outside our country”, thus stated the ambassador in the declaration.
