Declaration of repulsion and condemnation against the attempted State coup in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea

Crisantos Obama Ondo, accredited Equatorial Guinea Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Morocco, Tunisia and Mauritania, signed the declaration of repulsion and condemnation against the attempted State coup in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, which we are including with this article.

The accredited Embassy of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in the Kingdom of Morocco, the Republic of Tunisia, and Mauritania, having received official notification of the frustrated State Coup attempt in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, perpetrated by mercenaries infiltrated and supported by unscrupulous internal figures and acting as puppets of external forces, with the intention of spilling blood in Equatorial Guinea and overthrowing the legitimate Government led by H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Head of State and of the Government of Equatorial Guinea.

Faced with such an irresponsible act as attacking national sovereignty, the student body resident in Morocco, Tunisia and Mauritania, and the Diplomatic Staff, join with me in vigorously condemning these anti-democratic and criminal actions, and expressing our support for the peaceful, democratic political process in Equatorial Guinea”, thus began the declaration signed by Crisantos Obama.
