The 17,000 Euros that were raised at the party organized by the Association of Wives of African Ambassadors in Belgium last December, have been made available to the NGO Doctors Without Borders to combat the disease in the affected countries.
Last January 15 the first meeting of the Committee of Ambassadors of the African Union in Brussels (Belgium) took place, which was chaired by the Ambassador of Algeria. The event was attended by the Association of Wives of African Ambassadors in Belgium (AEEAB), represented by the wife of the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea in Brussels, Perseveranda Mangue de Nvono Nca.
The objective of the presence and intervention of the AEEAB was to deliver the check of 17,000 euros that were raised at the Stop Ebola gala, organized by the AEEAB on December 12, 2014. The money was given to the NGO Doctors Without Borders, to face the challenge of this deadly virus.
The President of the Committee of Ambassadors thanked Mrs. Mangue de Nvono Nca for the good work done during the year of her presidency in AEEAB. Similarly, the ambassadors and diplomats present passed on their congratulations and thanks.
