On 8th February many senators received the vehicles that will allow them to move around with ease in order to attend work and remain in contact with their jurisdictional electorate, in order to witness first hand their problems and needs.
With the aim of boosting the parliamentary activities of the Senate, and compliance with their mandate to maintain fluid, direct, permanent communication with their jurisdictional territories, the institution overseen by Teresa Efua Asangono has seen the need to provide the senators with vehicles. Some of these were delivered on 8th February to some members of parliament, while for scheduling reasons, the delivery will be completed by a second delivery, to take place in the near future.
During the delivery of the vehicles, the senators indicated that through this measure they would be able to meet the outlined objective. They also thanked the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, for his patriotic, humanitarian spirit in watching over the interests of the people of Equatorial Guinea, and the President of the Senate, for her good management at the head of such a prestigious institution as the Upper Chamber.
