The members of the delegation from DP World, Ahmed A Muhairabi and Andrew Powel, spoke to the Deputy Minister, Joaquin Elema Borengue, about matters related to the ports of Malabo, and the need to explore the possibilities of their management.
Elema Borengue told them of the Government plan for ports, and the need for efficient management of their exploitation.
For their part, the members of the delegation declared their willingness to work and offer their experience in the sector, ans they already work in 54 countries.
Following the audience, there was a technical meeting with the director generals from the port and the ministry, on the companies working at the port, and the number of national and foreign workers, among other matters.
The delegation concluded their day with an audience held with the Minister for Finance, the Economy and Planning, Cesar Augusto Mba Abogo, and a visit to the Port of Malabo.
