Director General for Human Rights at meeting for selection of Troikas

The Director General for Human Rights, Manuel Mba Nchama, attended the organisational meeting for the selection of Troikas for the Universal Periodic Review (UPR).

The Human Rights Council, with its headquarters in Geneva, organised a working session with participation from all member States of the United Nations, for the election of Troikas (Three Member States), who will analyse and review each national report on the Human Rights situation sent by the State which is the subject of the Review for 2019.

The Troika drawn to facilitate the Equatorial Guinea Review is made up of the following countries: Burkina Faso, Iceland and Ukraine.

Mba Nchama represented the republic of Equatorial Guinea at these working sessions, assisted by Nicanor Ondo Monsuy, Second Secretary from our Embassy on Switzerland.
