Director General for Human Rights takes part in 36th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council

The meetings of the Human Rights Council in its 36th session began on 11th September, and will end on 29th.

Manuel Mba Nchama, Director General for Human Rights, accompanied by members of our permanent mission before the United Nations Office and other International Bodies in Geneva, took part in these sessions, covering the promotion and protection of human, civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights, including the right to development; the report presented by the High Commissioner regarding the worrying situation of some countries with regards to human rights issues; and the evaluation of reports from various countries within the framework of the Universal Periodic Review.

These questions were the subject of general debate through interactive dialogue.
