The town of Rebola, on the outskirts of Malabo, is holding the feast of its patron, Our Lady of Montserrat, on 27th April. For that reason, the President of the Republic, H .E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, and his wife the First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, sent provisions for the fiesta.
This date is the second year running that the people of Rebola have sent a special invitation to the Head of State, if we consider that on 2nd June 2018 he was invited to oversee the inauguration of this parish church, financed by H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo himself, and consecrated by Juan Nsue Edjang, Archbishop of the archdiocese of Malabo.
On this occasion the provisions sent by the presidential couple consisted of various boxes of food products were delivered by the Adviser, Head of State Protocol, Teodoro Biyogo Nsue Okomo, in the grounds of Rebola Town Hall, in the presence of local authorities and the general public.
The municipality of Rebola, which belongs to the district of Baney, is today one of the towns in which the Government of our country has created a development of social housing and a sports complex, among other works undertaken to improve the living standards of the residents.
