Donation by First Lady to Children’s Villages in Tunisia

The donation was made on 27th February, during the State visit that the presidential couple is making to the Tunisian Republic from 26th to 28th.

Within the framework of the State visit that the Equatoguinean presidential couple in making in the Republic of Tunisia, the First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, visited the headquarters of SOSO Children’s Villages in Tunisia, a centre that this year has around one hundred orphaned children and parents without resources.

After receiving explanations on the operations of the ONG, the Doctor Honoris Causa in Social Sciences expressed her admiration for all those freely supporting Children’s Villages throughout the world.

Constancia Mangue, as Patron of Children’s Villages in Equatorial Guinea, sponsors the studies of various children in the United States, Zimbabwe and Ghana, among other countries.

The First Lady called for solidarity with the ONG, so that orphan disadvantaged children throughout the world can have a better life, and in order to set an example, she donated 20,000 Euro to Children’s Villages in Tunisia.

Following her words, she entered a dedication in the visitors’ book at the centre which highlighted the displays of appreciation and affection she received.

Moments later, the Vice-President of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea visited the Tunisian House of Crafts.
