The Minister of State to the Presidency of the Government for the Prevention and Fight against HIV-AIDS and Sexually Transmittable Diseases, Tomas Mecheba Fernandez Galilea, has received a delegation from the OCEAC (Organization for the Control of Major Endemic Diseases in Central Africa), on February 20, in the headquarters of its department of Nkoantoma, in Bata.
The delegation of the OCEAC was composed of Constant Roger Ayeme Goye and its executive secretary, among others.
The meeting had as its backdrop the program for the prevention of HIV-AIDS in the central region of the African continent. During the course, the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) donated a million and a half condoms to the Equatoguinean people, as a contribution to the fight against the pandemic. After this donation, the Minister Mecheba Fernandez assess the effort and support offered by the institutions that fight against AIDS.
In the act, the Director General of Prevention, Ambrosio Jose Monsuy and the Regional Delegate of Information, Press and Radio, Matias Nsang Esono, were also present.
