Embassy in Ivory Coast celebrates 50th Anniversary of Independence

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea Embassy in Ivory Coast also joined our country’s diplomatic headquarters that celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Ivory Coast, Bernardino Mba Ondo Mikue, oversaw the reception offered by the embassy, which was also attended by officials from the diplomatic headquarters. Members of the Government and representatives from institutions and civic society were invited to the event. After hearing the national anthems of the two countries, the ambassador gave a speech recognising the strengthening of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

On the level of our diplomatic and consular relations, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and the Republic of Ivory Coast, with the newly created Embassy, the two countries will implement in the future specific Economic, Technical and Cultural Framework of Cooperation agreements, and the signing of the creation of a great Mixed Commission on Cooperation between the two countries,; agreements that are pending in the near future, with the State visit of the two Presidents, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Alassane Ouattara”, said the ambassador.
