The General Secretary from the Presidency of the Republic of Congo, Jean Baptiste Ondaye, opened the ninth Conference of Chancellors from Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa, in representation of the President of the Republic, H. E. Denis Sassou Nguesso.
The ceremony began with a presentation of the delegations, then words from the mayor of the town of Kintele, followed by a speech from the Great Chancellor from the French republic. There was also a motion of gratitude from the Great Chancellor of the national orders of Congo, Norbert Okiokoutina, who pointed out that the Chancellor must examine and analyse the files and assist the President of the Republic when decorating the figures.
Jean Baptiste Ondaye praised and congratulated the organising committee of this ninth conference for the excellent work done by the chancelleries who, as the management bodies for national orders, must always work towards the efficient decoration of illustrious figures.
The Equatorial Guinea delegation attending the conference is led by the Chancellor for National Orders, Daniel Nkogo Nkogo, accompanied by the Equatorial Guinea Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Congo Brazzaville, Samuel Ateba Owono Iyanga.
