Equatorial Guinea celebrates 50th Birthday of Vice-President

Following the thanksgiving mass, held at Malabo Cathedral, to mark the 50th Birthday of the Vice-President of Equatorial Guinea, a banquet was organised at the private residence of the presidential couple to celebrate half a century of the life of Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue.

The PDGE Vice-President and Vice-President of the Republic celebrated his birthday at a gathering in the private residence of the presidential couple of senior figures from cultural, social, military and political life, who as a single family toasted the 50 years of the ASHO Honorary President.

Nguema Obiang Mangue, the host at the event, thanked the Equatoguinean people in general for celebrating this day and, in particular, he thanked those present at the ceremony; congratulations which also included the First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, and the Prime Minster, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue.

During the party, the presenters of Vivencias, a programme on public television in the country, entertained the event, in which there were musical performances and acrobatics, in addition to a toast by all those present, including members of the Government, the diplomatic corps, representatives from international organisations and senior officers from the military corps.
