The Large Events Organising Committee met on Saturday 29th April in one of the annexes at the Sipopo Palace of Conferences, to begin preparations for the C10 Summit, which the city will host from 14th to 17th May. The C10 Group is made up of African countries charged with negotiating reforms to the United Nations Security Council in representation of the African Union.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Agapito Mba Mokuy, oversaw the meeting with members of the organising structure for the summit and conferences in Equatorial Guinea. The act was also attended by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Salomon Nfa Ndong.
The aim of the meeting was to report to members of the organising commissions on the decision to hold the C10 Summit in our country, specifically in the city of Sipopo.
With the start of this meeting, the work began to coordinate the various commissions for the organisation of large events .
