Equatorial Guinea takes part in Human Rights Council period of sessions in Geneva

The delegation led by Alfonso Nsue Mokuy, Third Vice Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Human Rights, which also featured the Minister for Justice, Salvador Ondo Nkumu, attended on Monday 26th February the opening of meetings in the senior level segment of the United Nations Council.

At this 37th period of sessions for the council, senior dignitaries will provide information in the situation regarding human rights in each member country.

The opening was attended by the United Nations General Secretary; the United Nations high commissioner, and the president of the Human Rights Council, among others.

On 27th of this month our country will intervene through the Third Vice Prime Minister of the Government, who is leading the delegation.
