Executive Board at Presidency of the Government

On Thursday 14th June, the Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, oversaw a meeting of the executive council at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Government.

The council had four matters to cover on the agenda, which began with words from the Prime Minister reminding them of the updates to administrative structures making up the Presidency of the Government, so that they conform to current legislation governing the administration.

Then, the Minister General Secretary, Baltasar Esono Eworo, reported on the Draft Project for the General Budget for the Presidency of the Government for the 2019 Economic Period, and underlined the importance of preventing an increase in spending, through a reduction in the budget entries and an increase in the transfer of credit between departments.

The Vice Prime Ministers of the Government, Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene and Alfonso Nsue Mokuy, in addition to the Minister of State, Charged with Regional Integration, Baltasar Engonga Edjo, and the presidential advisers in matters of Administrative Coordination, Legal Affairs and Regional Integration, Enrique Nzang Beka, Pedro Ondo Ngua and Damian Ondo Mangue, respectively, were also at the executive council meeting.

Another of the matters raised during the meeting was in relation to the design of structures for the general directorates under the Organic and Functional Regulations for the Presidency of the Government. During this point, and in order to improve the operations of the institution, Obama Asue urged the general directors and associates to draw up and present a structure of their general directorates.
