Executive Council meeting at Ministry for Social Affairs

In the city of Djibloho, the Minister for Social Affairs and Gender Equality, Consuelo Ondo Nzang, assisted by the Vice-Minister Esperanza Gertrudis Davies Eiso, oversaw the opening of the executive council meeting in her department.

This Executive Council meeting, which was held at the installations of the Presidency of the Government, in the city of Djibloho, was attended by all departmental members; presidential advisers, director generals and associates, together with the two regional delegates, insular and continental, an all other ministerial delegates.

A total of eight points were covered at the meeting: the reading and approval of the minutes from the previous session; presentation for analysis and approval of the budgets for the 2017 action plans for the ministry bodies; presentation for analysis and approval of Draft Organic Law on Protection to prevent, eradicate and punish Violence against Women, for submission to the corresponding authorities; presentation for analysis and approval of the Draft Law on Traditional Marriage, for submission to the corresponding authorities; Law on the Family Code and People in Equatorial Guinea; presentation for analysis and approval of the draft project for the creation of the National Committee for Assistance for the Disabled and Elderly; presentation for analysis and approval of the ministerial order pronouncing regulations for the establishment of infant nurseries, and any other business.
