On 22nd October there was an executive council meeting at the Ministry for Culture, Tourism and Craft Promotion, attended by all the directors from the department. The minister was also accompanied by the Vice-Minister for Culture, Prudencio Botey Sobole, and the Secretary of State for Culture and Craft Promotion, Jeronimo Nsue Asumu.
A total of five points including any other business were dealt with during the meeting: the reading of the draft minutes from the previous session; the draft decree to create the National Tourism Office in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the draft law on the Protection of Cultural Heritage, and the Draft Law on the Protection of Author’s Rights.
In any other business, they spoke about the state of conservation of the cultural infrastructures and a study of the situation of the meritorious awards and the setting of salaries, among others.
