The executive body at the Ministry for Justice, Worship and Penitentiary Institutions met on Wednesday 5th April, to look at the six points on the agenda at this, the first executive council meeting of the year. All the points were covered at the meeting, which was overseen by the head of the department, Evangelina Filomena Oyo Ebule.
The Ministry for Justice government team met at the headquarters of the department in Malabo II, to look at the six points on the agenda for this first executive council meeting.
The main issues read out by the General Secretary from the ministry, Maria del Carmen Ebeze Nguema, were: the approval of the minutes from the previous session; study and approval of the draft Law n./2017, designating the first Sunday of the month of April every year as National Prayer Day; study and approval of the draft of the Reform to the Statute of the Fiscal Ministry, and the study and approval of the draft of the General Penitentiary Law.
In the presence of the Deputy Minister for Justice, Juan Olo Mba, they analysed, among other matters, the work carried out by the director generals at the latest council meeting, and the usual point covering any other business.
Oyo Ebule praised the efforts by all ministerial sections.
