The Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, oversaw the session of the fifth council meeting, which was attended by the Vice Prime Ministers of the Government, Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene, Alfonso Nsue Mokuy and A�ngel Masie Mibuy, respectively.
The meeting began with a speech by the Minister for Information, Press and Radio, Eugenio Nze Obiang, in his capacity as Minutes Secretary for the Interministerial Council, who read the minutes from the previous meeting for approval. After approving the minutes from the fourth meeting of the Interministerial Council,
the Ministry for Finance, the Economy and Planning, represented by the departmental head, Lucas Abaga Nchama, provided details regarding the Draft Settlement of the General State Budgets for the 2017 Economic Period, the Draft Rectification Project for the General State Budget for the 2018 Economic Period, and progress in the execution of the two to 31st March. Lucas Abaga Nchama also reported on the current state of negotiations between the Government and the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. For his part, the Minister for Trade, Pastor Micha Ondo Bile, presented the council with a report on the launch of the Single Business Window.
During the meeting, the Director General from the Centre for the Computerisation of Public Administration in Equatorial Guinea (CNIAPGE), Norberto Bartolome Monsuy, reported on the state of implementation if the First Phase of the Computerisation of Public Administration Project. The Interministerial Council meeting concluded with any other business.
