On Thursday 31st May, the deputy from zone H of Ela Nguema, Filiberta Bekari, oversaw the presentation of the trophies for the winning teams, during the patron’s holiday in Ela Nguema.
The event took place on the Macuandje Ground, where the finalists played the last matches before finding out who had won the trophy.
In the men’s game, the Canafrica side were the champions who took the cup, and in women’s football it was Calle Bata who won the category. The men’s runners-up were the Argentina side, and the women’s runners-up were the Kombo team. The sides took away medals and the cash prize after the presentation of the awards.
The event concluded with a group photo and a speech by the deputy, who described the initiative as positive, as the young people had used the championship for active participation in sport, and he praised the fact that the competition had taken place without incident.
In her speech, the deputy Filiberta Bekari concluded with thanks to the President of the Republic and the First Lady of the Nation.
