The autonomous fund of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea aims to have a solid structure in order to progressively increase its performance, and for that reason it considers necessary the technical assistance of international organisations that work in the sector, which would help personnel in our country to have more experience and perform better. Rafael Tung Nsue, Secretary of State at the Ministry for Finance, the Economy and Planning, Charged with the Autonomous Fund, met on 17th October in Washington with representatives of the MCM organisation, which deals with the capital markets.
The meeting served as a platform for Tung Nsue and his opposite numbers to confirm first the alignments, taking into account that the Ministry for Finance wants tough assistance that will help to review the legal mechanisms, and above all how it will be possible to implement programmes which allow the issue of all operations in order to obtain the necessary liquidity to confront monetary challenges.
The organisation declared its willingness to offer this assistance. The evaluation mission will take place in November.
They also covered the situation regarding the financial system, and other matters of vital importance for the mutual collaboration between the Ministry for Finance in our country and the organisation.
