A group of patients with visual problems are going to continue with their treatment abroad, specifically in Spain. The president of the Equatorial Guinea National Organisation for the Blind (ONCIGE), Juan Rocoso Bolopo, revealed that, since the creation of the association, hundreds of patients with eye problems have received medical consultations in various national and international health centres, thanks to the good management of the First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang.
According to data from this year, over forty patients from the association have received health and economic aid.
On 7th May, four patients with sight problems received their corresponding passports and tickets to travel to Spain.
Estrella Matutina Obono Nnandong, from Nzang Ayong Esangui; Cristina Nguema Alego, from NkoekieA Esandon; Hilaria Obono Mba, from Melen Yenvamm, and the child, Marcelo, made the trip to be admitted in the Arruzafa Hospital Centre, in the city of Cordoba.
These patients expressed their gratitude to the First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang.
