On 10th July, the Representative of the First Lady, doctor Justino Obama Nve, was received by Constancia Mangue de Obiang, to report on the conclusions of the Twenty-third General Assembly of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OPDAD), which concluded on 8th July in Niamey.
Constancia Mangue de Obiang granted the audience to Justino Obama Nve, who represented the First Lady at the OPDAD General Assembly, held from 4th to 9th July 2019 in Niamey, Niger.
The adviser in Health matters delivered to Mangue de Obiang the new strategic document from the organisation. The African first ladies meeting in Niamey paid homage to their counterparts in Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Rwanda, co.founders and pioneers of the organisation that, since 2002, had contributed towards an improvement in health and education on our continent.
The People’s Palace in Malabo was the setting for this audience, which was also attended by Ernesto Valentin Ndong, Adviser to the President of the Republic and in the Cabinet of the First Lady.
