The First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, granted audience to various figures at the People’s Palace in Malabo, including the Minister for Social Affairs and Gender Equality, Consuelo Nguema Oyana.
On 3rd April, the Doctor Honoris Causa in Social Sciences, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, received the wife of the French Ambassador in Malabo, Rita Constant, in her capacity as President of the Management Committee of the French School in Malabo.
In addition to passing on New Year’s wishes, Mangue de Obiang and Rita Constant congratulated each other for the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between Paris and Malabo, above all for the twentieth anniversary of the foundation of the Le Concorde school, on 7th April.
During her meeting with the First Lady, Rita Constant was accompanied by Quentin Duvauchelle, director of the French Lyceum.
Moments later, Maria Consuelo Nguema Oyana went to the People’s Palace in what was her second meeting with the First Lady of the Nation, since being appointed Minister for Social Affairs and Gender Equality.
The minister presented the First Lady with a report, and together they spoke about matters regarding gender equality and empowerment for Equatoguinean women.
