The First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, has received in audience a multi-sector health delegation led by the Minister of State, Charged with Health and Social Welfare, Salomon Nguema Owono, and the Government Delegate in the district of Ebebiyin.
The multi-sector health delegation included doctor Ana Bella Ekiri Nguie, head of the Office of the World Health Organisation in Malabo, among other figures.
Salomon Nguema Owono and his colleagues reported to the First Lady on the vaccination campaign against polio, which began on 15th April. All children under five in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea will have access to the vaccine.
The national president of the Women’s Organisation from the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea also spoke to the Government Delegate from the district of Ebebiyin, Maria Fatima Ntongono Nguema, with whom she covered matters such as the empowerment of women and the rape of minors in the capital of the province of Kie Ntem.
This is the first meeting for Ntongono Nguema with Mangue de Obiang since her appointment.
