The First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, held various audiences at the Head of State Office in Malabo, during the days of 30th and 31st May.
The Head of State Office in the month of May concluded with an audience that the First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, granted to Chen Gouyou, Ambassador from the People’s Republic of China. In their conversations, both speakers endeavoured to strengthen cooperation between Malabo and Beijing, with special emphasis on the empowerment of Equatoguinean women.
After five years managing SOS Children’s Villages in Bata, on 31st May, Francisco Javier MuAoz said goodbye to the Honorary President of the Support Committee for the Equatoguinean Child, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, at an audience held at the Head of State Office in Malabo.
MuAoz returns to Spain satisfied at having successfully completed his mission in our country, while deeply praising the humanitarian action of Mangue de Obiang, the only First Lady in Africa who provides integrated support for Children’s Villages.
On Tuesday, the Honorary President of the Women’s Organisation from the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), received the Vice President of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC), the Equatoguinean Rosario Mbasogo Kung for the last five years, whose mandate comes to a close in the month of August.
The empowerment of women and youth was on the first page of conversations between the First Lady and the Vice President of CEMAC, the first woman to hold this position in the sub-region.
