First Lady Meetings

The First Lady, Constancia Mangue, held two meetings on 12th July in the People’s Palace.

Firstly, Constancia Mangue received a group of doctors from the Sampaka Psychiatric Centre, among which included Dr. RaA�l Castro. This is the first annual meeting that the First Lady held with the medical team. Mangue Obiang took interest in the evolution of the patients, and how to improve the mental health of the Equatorial Guinean population in general.

-Within a month, we will start consultations throughout the whole country in order to diagnose mentally sick patients who can be treated on time, stated a member of the team.

The second meeting took place with the Minister of Justice and Penitentiary Institutions, Salvador Ondo Nkumu, with whom she held talks on the Malabo Central Mosque, and the freedom of religion in the country.

In both meetings, The First Lady was accompanied by the Director-General of the Cabinet, Ernesto Valentin Ndong.
