First Lady receives Coordinator of Children’s Villages

The First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, closed the week on Friday 9th February with an audience granted to the new General Coordination of SOS Children’s Villages in Bata, Francisco Javier MuAoz de Unamuno, at the Head of State’s Office.

Francisco Javier MuAoz de Unamuno, after leaving the post on 31st May 2017 after five years in the post, has once again returned as head of SOS Children’s Villages in Bata, as General Coordinator. In addition, he was invited to the Head of State’s Office to receive congratulations from the First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, in her capacity as Honorary Patron of the most vulnerable Social Strata in Equatorial Guinea, and main sponsor of SOS Children’s Villages in Bata.

During the audience, the First Lady and MuAoz de Unamuno spoke of the main challenges to confront during this new phase, such as extending the presence of Children’s Villages to other cities in the country, among other matters of benefit to Equatoguinean children.
