On 20th June it is World Refugee Day. For that reason, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, in his capacity as leader of the African Union for Migrants, Refugees and the Internally Displaced, visited the Tsore Refugee Camp, accompanied by the First Lady, Constancia Mangue.
The camp is located in the south east of Ethiopia, on the border with Sudan, and holds some 14,000 refugees, mainly women and children, who are exposed to the weather, or sheltered in primitive huts, without electricity, water, or essential food.
On her tour of the camp, Mangue de Obiang made a donation to various refugee mothers and children.
For his part, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, made a personal donation if 30 million FCFA for the construction of a school.
