The First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, congratulated women of Akonibe at a meeting held after the thanksgiving mass to mark the celebration of International Women’s Day, under the banner “We are thinking of equality, building with intelligence, and innovating for change”.
After the homily, the First Lady of the nation met women in the Conference hall in Akonibe.
In her reflections, the National President of the PDGE Women’s Organisation congratulated women “because they are fighting to defend the honour of this district”, she explained.
The 8th March is a special date for Equatoguinean women, due to the achievements in all areas of the country”, continued Mangue de Obiang, who also provided a cash donation for the entire collective of women in the district.
“We want equality of rights and opportunities”, continued the First Lady of the Nation, who also denounced drug addiction and juvenile delinquency, among other bad habits.
