The Minister for Fishing and Water Resources, Estanislao Don Malavo, has received in audience the French Ambassador, Fred Constant. The main subject of conversation between the two was the reactivation of the agreement and protocol for fishing signed between Equatorial Guinea and the European Union (EU).
The meeting took place in the minister’s office, and was attended by the Vice-Minister for Fishing and Water Resources, Adoracion Salas Chonko, the inspector and the adviser from the department.
Estanislao Don Malavo and Fred Constant spoke about the re-establishment and operation of the agreements and protocol on fishing signed with the EU, and looked at the possibility of France enabling greater closeness between Equatorial Guinea and the European institution.
Don Malavo pointed out that, through the reactivation of the agreement and the new recently approved Fishing Law, the ministry would introduce a series of actions to improve the sector.
