On Monday 29th July, the Equatorial Guinea Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono, was received in audience by the President of the Republic of Congo Brazzaville, H. E. Denis Sassou-Nguesso, at the Presidential Palace.
In the presence of the Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Congo Brazzaville, Samuel Ateba Owono Iyanga, the Minister for Foreign Affairs delivered a message to H. E. Denis Sasso-Nguesso, the contents of which were reserved by the illustrious recipient, sent by his Equatoguinean counterpart, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
The diplomatic relations uniting the two Governments were also reviewed during the meeting, which was also attended by the Congolese Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jean-Claude Gakosso.
On completing his programme, the delegation led by Simeon Oyono Esono was seen off in late afternoon by members of the Equatorial Guinea diplomatic mission in Congo Brazzaville, led by the Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador, Samuel Ateba Owono Iyanga.
