The French Cultural Centre in Malabo began French Language and Francophone Week with a programme of activities from 19th to 25th of this month, for people of all ages.
On 21st March, the programme began with a gastronomic event featuring the cuisines of Guinea and France, with restaurants such as La Luna, Sofitel Presidencial and Imagine taking part.
On Thursday 22nd, at 17:30, there was a dictation contest for children and adults, followed by the presentation of a film by an Equatoguinean film-maker, “Paty Pat”. The day concluded with the presentation of prizes from the dictation contest.
On Sunday 25th the activities will come to an end, and there will be a race, the performance of a Ballet Ceiba, and performances by folk groups from the Central African Republic.
