On 19th December the function room at the Hotel Anda China was the setting for the I MAO Conference on pan-Africanism, for the strengthening of the leadership of Equatorial Guinea and unity and peace in Africa, 50 years after independence. The conference was led by Mukanda Mabongo, president of the South Africa Friends of Obiang, who focussed his words on the history of MAO.
The act was overseen by by the MAO General Secretary, Anacleto Olo Mibuy, who prior to opening the conference, said a few words of welcome and provided a summary of what the conference was to cover.
Following words from the General Secretary, they heard the presentation by Mukanda Mabong, who contributed ideas on the MAO pan-African vision.
In addition, he did not stop praising the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, and concluded with some suggestions for the future of this Friends Movement.
