On Saturday 10th March, members of the Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.Amilcar Cabral Cultural Foundation (FUCONMAC) met under the direction of its president, Micaela Nchama Mbaga, to look at the three matters on the agenda. The meeting, which took place at the Equatoguinean Cultural Centre (CCEG) in Malabo, was attended by the honorary president, Rufino Ndong Esono Nchama, and the president of the foundation.
The matters covered during the meeting focussed on the designation of the new vice-president; the celebration of the III edition of the Traditional Dance Festival, which will take place in Evinayong in July, and the monthly quota to be paid, as it is not now receiving grants to carry out its activities, among other things.
The new new president elect was Jan Lupericio Nsibo Omogo, who replaced Leandro Mico Angue, who will go on to hold the position of special adviser to the foundation.
Furthermore, they looked at the translation into French, English and Portuguese of the books by the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, together with a review of the convention signed between the foundation and the society of authors from the Republic of Senegal, and the reactivation of foundation activities.
Finally, with regards to progress on the III edition of the festival, the members decided to meet in the middle of April this year.
