The team of the Cano Sport Academy which represented the Under-17 National Team of Equatorial Guinea, obtained excellent results in the Djiri Cup 2015 tournament held in the Republic of Congo Brazzaville.
A selection of the cadet and youth teams of the Sports Center for High Performance Cano Sport Academy, participated in Congo Brazzaville in the tournament of the Djiri Cup 2015, an international tournament for football centers and schools of Central Africa pitted the national Under-17 teams of the most prestigious football schools in Africa.
The Djiri Cup was the first challenge for a team from Cano Sport Academy in international competition and the results can be considered very satisfactory.
The group of 18 players who represented the U-17 Equatorial Guinea national team returned home with the trophy for best player of the tournament, awarded to “Nany”, and the Fair Play Trophy to the team, which highlights the excellent football training work being carried out with promising young Equatorial Guinean football players.
