H.E. Joseph Kabila Kabange arrives in Bata to attend the semifinal of the CAN

The team of the Democratic Republic of Congo will face Ivory Coast on Wednesday, February 4, in Bata, in the first semifinal of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) and the Congolese president has expressly traveled to attend the tournament.

H.E. Joseph Kabila Kabange, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, arrived at the Bata International Airport on the evening of Monday, February 2. Kabila was received with military honors by the Equatorial Guinean authorities, headed by H.E. President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. The reception was attended by the two Vice Presidents of the Republic, the Prime Minister and the Secretary General of the PDGE, among others.

At the Bata airport, the two leaders held a quick and cordial meeting in which the excellent relations of cooperation between the two countries were reviewed. H.E. Kabila Kabange transmitted to the President of Equatorial Guinea his congratulations for the good organization of the CAN 2015.
