On 4th February in New York, the agenda of the president of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, concluded with a bilateral meeting with the United Nations General Secretary, Antonio Guterres, on the top floor of the UN headquarters.
During the exchange of impressions, Antonio Guterres and H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo looked at the state of relations between the United Nations Organisation and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. At the end of the audience, the head of State and Government stamped his signature in the visitors’ book of the UN General Secretariat.
At the bilateral meeting the leader of the nation was accompanied by the Minister of State to the Presidency of the Republic, Charged with Missions, Alejandro Evuna Owono Asangono; the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Simeon Oyono Esono, and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea Permanent Representative before the UN, Anatolio Ndong Mba, among other figures.
