The celebration of the Investment in Africa Forum was one of the matters covered on 5th September, during the audience held between the Head of State and Government, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, and the Minister for Planning, Equipment and Major Works from Congo Brazzaville, Jean Jaques Bouya, at the People’s Palace in Malabo.
The special envoy of H. E. Denis Sassou Nguesso, in addition to delivering a written message from the leader of the neighbouring country, also reported to H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo on the preparations for the Investment in Africa Forum, in his capacity as president of the organising committee.
The People’s Republic of China, the World Bank and the host country are in charge of organising the fifth edition of the forum which, for the first time, is being hosted by a country in the subregion of Central Africa.
The audience was attended by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Simeon Oyono Esono, and the accredited Ambassador from Congo to Equatorial Guinea, Martine Renee Gallon.
