On Thursday, February 5, President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo received the official delegation from Ivory Coast, led by the President of the Assembly of the country, Guillaume Soro.
The Ivorian delegation was led by the President of the Assembly of the country, Guillaume Soro, and integrated by the Extraordinary Ambassador y and Plenipotentiary of this country accredited by the Government of Equatorial Guinea, Fatimata Toure, and the Vice President of the National Football Federation, Malick Tohe.
In addition, Guillaume Soro transmitted to the Head of State Equatorial the greetings from his Ivorian counterpart, H.E. Allasan Ouattara and his desire that H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo will soon visit his country.
The delegation traveled to Equatorial Guinea to participate in the football final of the CAN 2015 on Sunday afternoon, February 8, between Ivory Coast and Ghana. But the occasion was also used to discuss the political situation and security in the continent’s nations.
H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo congratulated the Ivorian delegation for his country’s football victory.
