The city of La Paz, capital of the Djibloho province, was the second city in the Continental Region to receive a visit from H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and S. E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who is leading the delegation from the Republic of Uganda that is visiting various places in our country.
The two Heads of State were received at the Gran Hotel Djibloho by a court of honour made up of local authorities from the province, together with members of the Government, led by the Prime Minister, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue.
The arrival in the city of La Paz was on the programme of activities for the first four-day State visit that H. E. Yoweri Museveni is making to Equatorial Guinea.
The senior Ugandan delegation visited, first thing on 27th August, various places of interest in the eighth province of Djibloho and, following the official programme for this visit to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, from 25th to 28th August, and having stayed at the Gran Hotel Djibloho, H. E. Yoweri Museveni spent his final moments in the city visiting various places of vital importance for this eighth province.
Within this context and accompanied by his Equatoguinean counterpart, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the African statesman saw first hand the degree of architectural and infrastructure development executed in the vast building project of this provincial enclave.
There are administrative buildings, university centres, social housing, avenues, streets, bridges, and barracks for the country’s military sector, among others, up to mow in the process of being constructed, with full financing from the Government led by H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
