On 23rd May, the Minister for Fishing and Water Resources, Adoracion Salas Chonco, oversaw the handover of offices to various directors and to the new inspector who were taking up their positions. The act took place in the meeting room at the ministry.
Accompanied by several departmental officials, the outgoing director generals handed over the portfolios to their successors.
The first was the Director General for Craft Fishing, Andres Ndong Micha, promoted to Vice-Minister for Fishing and Water Resources, who passed on his responsibilities to Judit Nfono Ngomo, former inspector from the same department.
Furthermore, the outgoing Director General for Fishing Resources handed the portfolio to Mariano Nguema; while the outgoing Director General for Industrial Fishing, Alejandro Esono, anded his to Jose Bikoro.
Finally, the outgoing inspector, Judit Nfono, handed the responsibility to Modesto Mguema Ondo.
Following speeches from each of them, the Minister for Water Resources pointed out the importance of these changes, and congratulated the new directors.
