Head of State holds audience with Ambassador from Cameroon

On 11th April, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, granted an audience to the accredited Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador from the Republic of Cameroon in Equatorial Guinea, Lazare Mpouele Mbala, at the People’s Palace in Malabo.

During the appointment they spoke about matters of bilateral interest. Cooperation between Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, and other matters of mutual interest, were dealt with during the course of the audience. The conversations also focussed on current affairs and the new impulse towards friendship and brotherhood that unites the Republic of Cameroon and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea; two nations that are also members of various subregional organisations, such as the Economic Community of Central African States (CEEAC),or the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC), among others.

During the audience, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo was accompanied by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Simeon Oyono Esono.
