At the golf club in the city of Mongomo, the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, held an audience with the special envoy from the President of Sudan and current President of CISSA (Committee of Intelligence and Security Services of Africa).
The meeting, which took place in the presence of the Deputy Minister for the Presidency, Charged with External Security, Juan Antonio Bibang Nchuchuma, was held so that Mohamed Ata Elmaula Abas could deliver a message to H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo sent by his Sudanese counterpart, H. E. Omar Hasan Ahmad al Bashir, within the framework of the bilateral relations uniting the two peoples.
In addition, the current President of the CISSA reported to the Head of State on progress on the work of constructing the CISSA headquarters, which is taking place in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia. It is due to be opened in 2018.
“The institution was created by H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, and for that reason we want the headquarters to bear the name of the founder”, he pointed out.
