Head of State holds audience with North American Sub Secretary of State for Africa

Continuing with the working agenda on 24th September, the President of the Republic, H. E Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, granted an audience to the Sub Secretary of the North American State for Africa, Matthew Harrington, with the aim of covering matters of bilateral interest between Washington and Malabo.

The meeting took place in the presence of the Ministers of State, Charged with Missions, at the Presidency of the Republic, Alejandro Evuna Owono Asangono, and the head of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono, together with ambassadors from our country before the Government of the United States and the Permanent Representative of the Equatorial Guinea diplomatic mission before the United Nations, Anatolio Ndong Mba.

H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Matthew Harrington congratulated each other for taking part in the work of the 73rd United Nations General Assembly which began on Tuesday 25th September 2018, and Senior Level meetings on the World Problem of Drugs and the Nelson Mandela Summit for Peace, which coincides with the centenary of his birth.
