On Thursday 15th February, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, granted an audience to the Executive Secretary of the Committee of Intelligence and Security Services for Africa (CSISA), Shimeles Woldese Mayat.
During the meeting, the Executive Secretary of CSISA submitted to the Head of State the final report by his organisation regarding the failed terrorist attack on 24th December 2017 in our country.
The Minister from the Presidency of the Republic, Charged with Exterior Security, Juan Antonio Bibang Nchuchuma, attended the meeting, where the two figures also spoke about the financing and development of this African institution.
The Intelligence Committee of the Security Services of Africa was formed on the initiative of the Head of State, following another failed attempt at destabilisation in Zimbabwe in 2004, and in wholly financed by the Equatoguinean President, with its headquarters in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia.
