Two separate audiences made up the working day of the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, on 13th June, at the People’s Palace in Malabo.
Mussa Faki Mahamat, President of the African Union Commission, who took part in the work of the 54th African Development Bank (AfDB) Annual Assembly, spoke to the Head of State about various aspects regarding refugees and displaced persons, the topic of the year on the agenda of the African institution.
Accompanied by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono, the Minister for Finance from the Comores Islands, Said Ali Said, was also received by the leader of the nation.
The special envoy from the Comores Islands was the bearer of a written message for the President of the Republic, a document which demonstrated the good diplomatic relations uniting Malabo and Moroni, taking into account that the two countries are members of various international organisations.
