The President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, granted two separate audiences on 27th November, at the People’s Palace in Malabo. First he received a delegation from the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), led by the president of the Certification Institute, Thomas Xavier Martins. Then he met an Austrian business mission.
The CPLP retinue reported to the Head of State on the project to create the Certification Institute, in order to formalise the authenticity of Equatoguinean products which will be exported to the common market.
With the assistance of the president of the Insular region Chamber of Commerce, Gregorio Boho Camo, the proposal was well received by the President, who expressed the willingness of his Government to collaborate with the CPLP.
The next delegation received by the leader of the nation was from the Austrian company VAMED. Thomas Hinterleitner, managing director of the company, presented the President of the Republic with his project to invest in the health sector in our country.
The audience took place in the presence of the Deputy Minister of the Presidency of the Republic, Charged with External Security, Juan Antonio Bibang Nchuchuma, and the Secretary of State, Charged with Health Care and Hospital Coordination, Daniel A�ngel Sima Mico.
