From 26th to 27th April, the President of the Republic, Head of State and of the Government, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, made a State visit to Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
At Malabo International Airport, he was seen off by the Vice-President of the Republic, Charged with Defence and National Security, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, the head of the Supreme Court of Justice, Juan Carlos Ondo Angue, and the PDGE General Secretary, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro.
Some members of the Government and local authorities from the province of Bioko Norte were also present at the send-off.
Apart from the official programme for this State visit to Kampala, where the signing of various cooperation agreements is expected between the two delegations, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo will take part with a speech at the conference on the annual oil and gas convention, an organisation of which Equatorial Guinea is a member, as a producing country.
